Meeting was called to consider the report from Professor Corner, following his visit to Brazil [EB/8(68)]. Includes three appendices. Appendix I is the minutes of a meeting with Sir John Russell, Ambassador in Rio de Janeiro, a meeting which took place in February 1968. Appendix II is notes on a meeting between Professor Corner and representatives from the Royal Geographical Society and appendix III is the 'Translation of a report of the Delibrative Council of Brazil, incorporating draft text of an agreement concerning the RS/RGS expedition'.
