The post-war papers consist of correspondence with Sir Harold Hartley and Dr H Kronberger, UK Atomic Energy Authority, on a German system for uranium isotope separation, and on an Italian diffusion plant; and with Dr Joseph Slepian, Associate Director, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, on a scheme for separating uranium isotopes by magnetic means.
The papers from the Second World War relate to Simon's links to the MAUD Committee, which supervised research into Uranium Isotope Separation and its potential uses as a weapon and power source.
