DescriptionHas explored possibility of coming to Canberra - cannot get staff to come for indefinite time and some will not come at all - discusses this - told Ennor that he and his staff could come to Canberra for a year - Ennor thought Council might view this as a holiday for Florey's staff - comments on this and on possibility of people staying for more than a year - comments on possibility of getting financial help from Nuffield Foundation - money University is saving by Melville and Ennor not coming to England, could perhaps go towards fares - is one Australian who might settle in Canberra (Australian National University) - comments on this - has been very busy as Chairman of one of the Royal Society's Sectional Committees and has heavy teaching term.
