DescriptionThe letters in this series are of a professional nature and it is apparent from their content that Dr Walsh had taken a keen interest in prostaglandins and the work of Sir John Vane and his colleagues. Generally in the letters the two discuss developments in the field and the theories of various doctors. Within the series are a number of copied letters that Dr Walsh had written to various medical journals including The Lancet. There is also a letter of congratulations to Sir John Vane on his knighthood.
