DescriptionThis file concerns the 2001 Nobel Jubilee Symposium, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the first Nobel Prizes, and to which Sir John and Lady Daphne Vane were invited. The Symposium was held in close connection with the 2001 Nobel festivities. Included alongside a copy of Sir John Vane's itinerary and travel arrangements are extensive correspondence regarding arrangements and the programme for the Symposium, and memorabilia of the Jubilee and Symposium (including transcripts and translations of speeches, entrance cards and menus).
