The tables of meteorological observations record the dates of readings [by Gregorian and Julian calendars], general weather observations, wind direction and speed, and rainfall; with a final column noting the activity of the volcano Vesuvius. The observations commence on 1 January 1725 and end on 11 January 1726 [21 December 1724 and end on 31 December 1725]. Headed: 'Diarium Meteorologicum Neapolitanum Anni MDCCXXV'. The manuscript concludes with monthly rainfall summaries, 1717-1724.
