| Description | Daily records of the weather recorded at York Factory, Hudson's Bay, Canada. Columns for date, time of observations, barometer, thermometer, winds, weather, and general remarks. Commencing with four observations per day, from 1 September 1774, but moving to between five and eight observations each day from 5 September. Generally six records were taken, from 6.00 or 7.00a.m. to 9.00p.m. The general remarks contain sightings of the aurora borealis, Sun dogs, and other phenomena.
