| Description | Daily observations at hourly intervals at Singapore. Readings of the declination magnetometer, actinometer, horizontal force magnetometer and vertical force magnetometer; with attached thermometers for the horizontal and vertical force instruments. Corrected and uncorrected barometer and its attached thermometer, dry thermometers exposed and in shade, wet thermometers exposed and in shade. With elasticities of vapour at the temperature of the hygrometer, elasticities of vapour at the temperature of dew point [four observations per day], minimum temperature, solar and terrestrial radiation, with hourly observations of solar radiation. There are also term day observations, commencing at 10.00p.m. on 21 March and concluding at 9.00p.m. on 22 March [Gottingen mean time], with readings of the magnetometers, barometer, dry and wet thermometers exposed and in shade, direction and force of wind, rainfall, extent of cloudy sky and general remarks.
