With extended weather remarks below the main table, which was compiled during hurricane conditions. 'I cannot conclude without remarking the particular kindness of Mr. Lienard senior & of Mr. Thomas Corby, a volunteer in the Surveyor General's Department, the former by assiting me with his own accurately compiled and valuable notes taken during the Hurricane, and the latter by kindly taking the observations for me during part of the time, when fatigue and illness prevented by being at the observatory'.
