CreatorLankester; Sir; Edwin Ray (1847-1929); British zoologist
Date9 February 1898
DescriptionInforms he has withdrawn his publication fund application made on behalf of Dr Willey as he agrees with the Zoological Sectional Committee that such grants should be reserved for the publication of specific pieces of work.

He is now applying as editor and proprietor of the Quarterly Journal of Microscopic Science for a grant of £75 for the publication fund to enable him to publish Dr Willey's account with coloured drawings, made by the lithographer of the original specimens, and rough sketches of new species of peripatus from New Guinea, new species and genus of enteropneusta.
