DescriptionInforming that he Committee appointed by the Royal Society and the British Association authorised him to negotiate with the Trustees of the Honolulu Museum to ascertain if they would contribute to publishing the result of the investigations made by the Committee. Has received an offer from the Trustees to pay one half of the publication costs, subject to certain conditions. Encloses documents further detailing the offer [enclosure present]. Requests for the Royal Society to authorise it in order to formally accept the offer.
