Sir, I am in receipt of a letter from Mr. R.T.Gunther of Magdalen College, Oxford, in which he offers to present to this Office a set of meteorological registers for Oxford, covering the period 1970-1905. He informs me that the documents are at present in your charge and suggests that I should send to Burlington House for them. This I shall be happy to do if you will kindly let me know when it would be convenient to you for my messenger to call for them. Mr. Gunther mentioned he was writing to you on the subject.
