Date26 June 1939
Description'My dear Bragg,
Would you kindly have a look at the enclosed letter [MDA/A/17/3] and let me know what the position is? You remember we thought that it would be best to see first what could be arranged through Cambridge and then if the idea could be worked all right through Cambridge University, that it might be worth while to approach the Vice Chancellors of other Universities.
What do you think?
Yours sincerely'.
