DescriptionSummarising for Egerton the development and position of the International Federation for Documentation, at the request of Sir Clifford Paterson. They have created a plan in a letter to M Bonnet, the secretary of the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation, regarding the improvement of the Abstracting Bureax and the 1942 formation of the 'Joint Committee of British Abstracts and Science Abstracts, which invites the adhesion of other abstracting bodies'.
