DescriptionMartin states that he has already asked Sir Edward Appleton to prepare a statement on [Sir Robert Alexander] Watson-Watt for the Hughes Medal, and therefore he will not forward Egerton's letter to Barton. He is glad that Egerton's work for the Bangalore Institute is going well and that they are finding Burleigh useful. He will discuss Egerton's suggestion about the Dominions Conference with Sir Edward and the President. Proctor has been invited to the lunch on the 7 October, at the President's suggestion.
