Description | With the completion of Egerton's time as Secretary [of the Royal Society], his membership of various committees has come to an end. Martin expresses his thanks to Egerton on behalf of the Council for his services in this area, and lists the relevant committees with which Egerton was involved. Martin reports that the Council were anxious that Egerton should continue to be a member of the Warren and Soiree Committees and of the General and Executive Board of the National Physical Laboratory, to which Egerton has been re-appointed for the ensuing year. |
