Ross asks for Lloyd's advice on the best arrangement of a magnetic observatory and when [Thomas] Grubb will be able to deliver the instruments necessary to the expedition and the establishment of observatories. Ross already has two six inch dip circles from [Thomas Charles] Robinson.
