| Description | Buckland has been told that his colt is valuable, 'worth one hundred pounds', and he will not turn it out with other horses, risking a second kick. He wishes to send it to Warborough, therefore, and is willing to pay the bailiff what he would have paid for College stabling. He shall send the horse if his uncle answers affirmatively. Notes his understanding of his uncle's intentions to be in Warborough and London and Buckland's own movements. Dr [Henry] Beeke has visited and sends remembrances. Buckland has learned that the Earl of Bridgewater is reported as being near death. |
