| Description | Noting that he has receieved Knyvett's memorandum of an inscription for the portrait of Dr [James] Jurin, which he will present to the Royal Society. He also confirms that the Society would like to keep in their collections the offered letters to Jurin from [Bernard Le Bovier de] Fontenelle, [Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de] Buffon, [Pierre Louis] Maupertuis and [Francois Marie Arouet de] Voltaire.
