A number of Joint Committee members representing the Royal Geographical Society resigned, and their replacements were named.
A letter from the Royal Geographical Society Council dated 18 April 1901 was considered. Sir George Goldie stated that the RGS would appoint Admiral McClintock, Mr Mackenzie and himself on the proposed Special Committee to rearrange the Expedition Instructions. The Royal Society proposed a small Committee of six members, and would notminate Lord Lindley, Lord Lister, and Mr Kempe to represent them.
The proposal for a Special Committee was approved. The Secretary was authorised to provide any necessary documents to the committee. |
