| Description | Gives thanks to Larmor and he was delighted to talk, Larmor gave him all the information he needed. He is wholeheartedly in sympathy with Larmor's views of the grant and the problems they discussed. Anderson thought he had worried Larmor and wasted his time. He asked Brindley for advice before invading Larmor's rooms. Anderson had been working up to a nervous breakdown during term and had been troubled with insomnia and neurasthesia pains. He experienced the same symptoms ten years ago, which should have warned him. He wished he had not gone to the meeting last Monday, he was quite abnormal after a restless night. He regrets his loss of control and has been ashamed since. He thinks he should not attend Council on Monday and has informed the Vice-Chancellor that he will resign in the vacation. |
