| Description | Fitzgerald has had time to look at Larmor's proof and there are some points which he cannot quite follow. His resolution is the same as Fitzgerald's, but arrived at analytically. He wonders if Larmor has considered [Pieter] Zeeman on magnetic field as a rotating medium in opposition to Larmor's 'pet theories'. He expands upon this and other queries in page references to Larmor's proof. Fitzgerald refers to work by [Oliver] Heaviside and [James Clerk] Maxwell, and his own calcualtion of radiation of molecules of a gas. |
