| Description | Huggins has gone through the proofs and has encountered a number of errors. She mentions specifically one regarding the means of travel for Professor Miller and Sir William Huggins. She also suggests modifications regarding Mr Maunder's spectroscope observations. She continues to discuss small alterations of turns of phrase, giving the relevant page numbers for the proofs. She comments that the Stoney family are taking a house at Hampstead. Huggins notes that she has doubts about remaining where she lives, but would not want to write about Sir William Huggins's life anywhere else. She ends with updates about their friends, including that George Hale is doing better; that the Frosts are due for a visit next month, and that one of the Schuster girls is soon to be married. |
