Description | Larmor may have heard from [Arthur Stanley] Eddington that the Office of Works has 'knocked our arrangement on its head'. Eddington has written in reply to thtem and Knobel hopes that Larmor will write to the Head of the Office of Works. The Royal Astronomical Society might give the Office a formal guarantee that use will not be permanent. An alternative might be that the registered address might be the Secretary of the LMS [London Mathematical Society] and communications should be sent care of the R.A.S. |
