| Description | He sends 'one of his efforts'. Larmor had not numbered the questions, he also sends a draft of the Dynamics paper which seems alright, but Larmor may think it too easy. Lamb has a long history of teaching men who have no manipulative powers. Easy questions are best he thinks, for teaching purposes, although they are a poor defence against 'crammers'. He can find no example of the 'Hydrostatics' paper among his materials, so he keeps close to the syllabus. He has two other papers to set, he thinks, and the task of 23 papers is near complete. |
