TitleLetter from Arthur W [William] Rücker, The Athenaeum, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorRücker, Sir Arthur William (1848–1915), British physicist
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date12 July 1905
DescriptionHe is unsure whether he will attend the conference, as he wants to get away at the end of July, but if he can be of use he will. It would be delightful if Larmor could come for the eclipse, and if he wrote to the Orient he must say he is with Rücker's party. This is a fiction, the company promising it would 'do the trick' if they could raise fifteen people, but there are now more. The Nivens could come too, and he sends two programmes, one for them.
