Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Henry Edward Armstrong, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 1 April 1896 |
Description | Rix states that Denmark was due to send Professor Christiansen if the vote was passed, but as they have not heard anything, they are not sending the Delegates' circular to him. He asks for confirmation that this is correct.
Roumania has promised to send a delegate, but they have not given a name. Rix asks if he is to hold back, or to send the circular to an official department.
The response from Switzerland was that as soon as the programme of the conference has been communicated to them, they will send the names of their delegates.Rix asks if he is to send the Delegates' Circular to Switzerland, and requests that if the answer is yes, that Armstrong send a draft covering letter. |
