He reports that the Board decline to make good the cracks in the plate glass window; they will allow the hatchway providing the wooden beam below it is not touched; in installing of a new range Harrison's men have cut away the brickwork and weakened the piers, and as a consequence the Board have ordered an addition of four and a half inches of brick which Kennedy will explain; they have ordered some alteration due to his hot water pipe being too near the woodwork. |
