Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Dr Edward Emanuel Klein, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 25 October 1898 |
Description | Through the office they are today sending a reply from Miss Chambers to Klein's letter of the 22nd. Discusses indexing abstracts, which he does not agree with but the Committee have decided to support the expenditure of time and labour this will cause. If Kelin and Professor [Herbert] McLeod feel strongly enough about the matter to send in an official letter, the Committee might be called together to reconsider its decision. Proposes to bring the first sheet before the officers meeting on Thursday and should be glad of Klein's views before then. |
