Description | At the request of the Secretaries of the Royal Society, Harrison sends a copy of a memorandum which it is proposed to attach to the letter to the Prime Minister on the subject of an Antarctic expedition. The memo has been settled by Sir John Murray, Professor [Arthur William] Rucker, and Sir Clements Markham, but Rucker wished Wharton to see it before it went in. Asks for any notes at Wharton's earliest convenience. |
