Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor George Carey Foster, Fellow for the Royal Society |
Date | 30 January 1900 |
Description | Has received Mr Boy's report on Dr [Charles] Chree's paper, which is adverse and he is therefore keeping it for the next meeting of the Sectional Committee. If however Foster wishes to see it at once, Harrison will send it.
Encloses a card giving the usual particulars concerning a report on the eclipse of 1898, received from Sir N Lockyer [not enclosed]. Professor [Arthur William] Rucker suggests Sir W Abney and Professor [Arthur] Schuster as suitable referees. Asks if Foster agrees. |
