| Description | Has the pleasure to inform him that President and Council of the Royal Society have awarded him the Hughes Medal for his long-continued experimental researches on the electric discharge in liquids and gases.
It is hoped he may be able to attend the Anniversary Meeting of the Society on 30 November at 4pm to accept the medal in person. |
