Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society] |
Date | 15 April 1889 |
Description | Encloses the circular for Dr Harley [not included], to be signed and posted. Rix delayed sending it as he knew that as soon as Harley received it he would call to have work on the cuts begun, but Rix wanted to consult Dr Michael Foster first.
Rix takes it for granted that Foster did not overlook Mr Sorby's report in bringing it before the Committee, noting he had one report on his pocket and the others in the bundle. |
