Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Victor Herbert Veley, University College, Oxford |
Date | 13 May 1889 |
Description | Veley's letter to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], opened at his instructions, will be forwarded to him at Terling by tonight's post. Rix responds himself to say that the Royal Society is happy to have papers illustrated by experiments when the authors wish to take the trouble. Veley should let them know if he needs any appliances or arrangements for the paper.
A postscript states Rix's assumption, from the enclosure of an abstract, that the paper is referred for publication in 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. |
