Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr [John] Hopkinson, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 25 July 1889 |
Description | Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] has reminded Rix that he sent to Hopkinson an extract from the report of one of the referees suggesting certain groupings of his curves and a correction in two of them, but overlooked this when submitting the engravers plans. Rix now sends another copy of the extract and asks that he let him know if the suggestions are to be adopted.
Rix will be glad of a quick response as he shall shortly be leaving town.
A postscript notes that the engravers have been instructed to send the drawings to him to compare with the suggestions. |
