| Description | In reply to Southerns' letter and postcard of 3 November, it is customary for an author to limit himself to about eight or ten minutes for the reading of his paper so that, except in the case of a very short paper, an author usually gives only a brief account of his communication, indicating those points in the full paper that he considers of special interest. The short abstract Southerns sent will be set up in type and distributed to the Fellows present at the meeting. There will be no objection Southerns illustrating the paper with a few lantern-slides. Strangers are admitted to the ordinary meetings of the Society on the introduction of a Fellow by the President's leave and he thinks there will be no difficulty regarding this. |
