| Description | He will see by the enclosed letter [no enclosures] that the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine are resolved to being as assertive as ever. Thinks Hardy kept the paper rather long, and Geikie has written to Mott to hurry him to return it. In view of recent correspondence over this and Walker[?]'s paper, Geikie would like Martin to summon a meeting of the Physiology Committee, to inform them of the kind of difficulties they have to contend with. Major Ross asks that the subject be brought before Council.
In the case of the paper referred by Ross, there has been no unacceptable delay, as Hardy is [?] and cannot be expected to set everything aside even for the papers of the Royal Society. Thinks the Liverpool Tropical School would like to have their papers passed immediately for printing without the trouble of a Chairman of Committees or referees. |
