Description | Harrison informs Cresswell that he followed his suggestion and sent an invitation to the Royal Society's Soiree to Dr Nichols of New York at the address given of 94 Cornwall Gardens, but received the letter back from the Dead Letter Office as Nichols is not known at that address. He asks that, if Nichols is still in London, Cresswell inform him that an invitation was sent and they regret that it failed to reach him.
Harrison believes Cresswell was misinformed about Forster's new address, which he has since learnt is 84 Cornwall Gardens. He asks if Nichols will be staying there until the end of June, as if this so, the Society would like to send him an invitation to the June Soiree. |
