Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor W Osler, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 28 February 1908 |
Description | Had Harrison had time yesterday he would have mentioned a matter he thinks would be of interest to Osler. In August 1906 Osler wrote to enquire about four large anatomical preparations presented to the [Royal] Society by John Evelyn and we wrote that they were probably lost. Harrison has recently learnt from the Curator of the Hunterian Museum that these preparations are preserved there and he is trying to find out how they left the Royal Society. Harrison has not been able to trace the History of this but thinks Osler will be glad to know that these preparations are preserved. |
