| Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Francis Henry Neville, Fellow of the Royal Society, Letchworth |
| Date | [November 1910] |
| Description | Larmor would like Neville to look over the shortened paper by W A Hatfield and the way he has tried to meet Liveing's objections. Larmor thought he was a retired steel manufacturer, but it turns out he is a young fellow working for a steel firm, and his appearance to read the paper did not inspire confidence. Hatfield will pay 4/5 the cost of the plates. It is more or less bound to be printed in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' if he satisfies the criticism of the referees. |
