Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society] |
Date | 17 November 1891 |
Description | Rix has obtained estimates for Professor Parker's manuscript, and finds that it will be more expensive than anticipated, due to its German quotations and technical words. He could get it done "just anyhow" for one shilling and six pence a folio, but to be done by a good firm and examined carefully would cost five pounds inclusive, or without examination three pounds and eighteen shillings for the English, and two pence a folio extra for the German and French quotations. Rix asks if he is to put it in hand, or write to Paker about the matter.
He states that 25 November at 4pm will suit Dyer and William Chandler Roberts-Austen well. |
