Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [William Napier] Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 29 July 1914 |
Description | In the absence of Professor [Arthur] Schuster, Harrison consulted Dr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook on the subject of Shaw's letter of 23 July relating to the Kew monogram trade mark. It appears that application for renewed registration has arisen out of some technical distinction between scientific instruments and medical appliances. For the moment it would seem as if the simplest course would be followed if they could give assurance that the Meteorological Office consent to the continued use of the mark by the Royal Society. |
