Description | Advises Sir [William] Napier Shaw, [FRS], has written to the Royal Society about the proposal to make arrangements for observing and photographing aurora in connection to Amundsen's polar expedition. SirNapier Shaw advises that the Gassiot Committee might be of assistance in the matter, but Harrison does not think it would be possible to have a meeting of the Gassiot Committee before the vacation, and mentions he himself has been ordered on sick leave and will start his leave the following Monday. Aks how the matter should be dealt with. |
