Highlights the need to be clear that while members can atttend meetings and take part in discussions, only delegates are able to vote. Suggests that a letter go out to all members of the National Committee, informing them that they are welcome to attend the meeting [of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics] and providing details of it and of nearby hotels, and then another meeting of the Committee be held to fix on their delegates for the meeting. Notes that the Society will part fund the expenses incurred by the chosen delegates. |
