| Title | Copy letter from Henry Hallett Dale, Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Secretary, Lister Centenary Executive Committee |
| Date | 17 September 1926 |
| Description | Updates the Secretary of the Lister Centenary Executive Committee of the decision to create a temporary museum as part of the Lister Centenary celebrations. As the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum already has on exhibit items relating to [Lord Joseph] Lister, the delegates of the celebrations have decided to use it as a base to collect and exhibit objects not represented there. Asks for the Executive Committee to look favourable on any loan request made by the Wellcome Museum [Wellcome Collection]. This letter was also circulated to the various Universities, Colleges and Institutes. The letter is unsigned. |
