Description | Partially complete drawing of plate 9, figure A showing a stem of a Campanularia dichotoma [Obelia dichotoma]. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Graphite inscription verso reads 'J J Lister requests that owing to other engagements yesterday he was unable to begin the enclosed before this morning. He sends it to town by the train to keep as nearly his appointment with Mr Basire as is in his power. Upton 7/31/1835'. Not signed. Watermarked 'J Whatman Turkey Mill 1830'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
