Description | Plate 17 showing a chart of the solar inequality of the heights of high water in Liverpool at specific hours of the the moon's transit throughout the months of the year. Two additional lines have been added in graphite at the bottom of the chart; these do not appear in the published plate. An ink inscription top right reads 'The black line to be dotted. The red ones full lines'. A faint pencil inscription in the middle of the chart reads 'This space to be the same size'. Inscribed verso with publication and plate details. Not signed. Watermarked 'J Rump 1831'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
