Description | Plate 22, figures 1-8 showing details of the anatomy of the Vesicularia spinosa when retracted and protruded, including the stem, branches, cells, and muscles. Figures 3-4 and 6-7 drawn separately and pasted onto the backing board. Inscribed recto and verso with publication and plate details. An ink inscription bottom left reads 'Ciliobrachiata'. Signed bottom right 'Arthur Farre del.' and below 'March. 1837.' Embossed stamp top left verso reads 'Bristol Board'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
