DescriptionPhotograph album containing mostly large formal black and white photographs mounted on black paper pages of the album.

Chiefly shows Robert Hanbury Brown with various educational and professional groups; from a school foootball team photograph (1929) to groups related to aviation and radar in the 1930s and 40s.

Also includes some holiday or travel photographs and candid and profession family portraits. The portrait content spans a longer period than the other content - the earlier material comprises portraits of R H Brown's father Basil as a young man in uniform, also a military portrait of Hassall Hanbury Brown, the later material incudes a portait of R H Brown with his own three young childdren and wife Heather in 1961 and another later group photo, the only one in colour, apparently of family members, identified by first name.
