Suggests he returns to his work on sealife and feeding. Second referee's comments describes the paper's experiments as 'superficial and crude', and argues that the author 'dabbles in a subject of which he has no intimate knowledge'. Refers author to 'a similar work on insects by J Pantel "Les enveloppes du l'oeuf evac leurs dependances", La Cellule, 1912, 29, 1-288, Pls. I-VII'. Suggests a much shortened version could be put forward to the Zoological Journal.
